Research and Planning: Model Test Shots

These are my model test shots. I will use one of these on my music magazine cover. 

 In this photo, the model does not have a blank expression on his face therefore I probably will not use it.

 I will most likely use this photo.

 In this photo, the model is looking away from the camera so I will probably not use it.

 I may use this photo for my magazine.

I do not want drums on my music magazine cover as it will be difficult to remove them from the background.

Research and Planning: Location Recce

This is where I have taken my photos, it is a room with a blank white wall; as I plan to place the picture of a model over a background I can easily remove the background of the original photo as it is all one colour.

The following images are examples of rock music magazine covers. On all of these magazines, they have placed an image of the model over a background therefore this is what I will do with my magazine.
